Ferrari has presented a new model, unique of its kind, to mark 60 years of presence in North America. Combining features of Ferrari’s latest sports car models and featuring elements of the brand’s cars from the 1950s and 1960s, this new special model of Ferrari will be able to push 0-62 MPH in 3.1 seconds. The new model will also have special Ferrari 60th anniversary badges. The badges will be displayed on the car’s tunnel cabin and its wheel-arches.
The F60 has a fabric top completely separate from the car, making it a non-convertible model. This new open roof vehicle is intended to stay covered for a speed of up to 75 miles per hour, which is only a small fraction of the car’s maximum speed equal to more than 200 miles per hour.
The white and blue color combo is intended to give honor to the North American Racing Team that rode Ferrari in the period between 1960s, ’70s and ’80s.
The car’s price is $3.2M. Ten people, two Canadians and eight Americans, have purchased the new vehicle model, that is currently being built. The vehicles will come out by the end of 2015.
