Many have been waiting for critically acclaimed Heesen Yachts to reveal its largest yacht ever, which has gone under the name Project Kometa, and now it is finally here as the 229-foot Galactica Super Nova.
Thanks to a fresh and clean design and fast-displacement hull technology, the large yacht is able to reach an impressive top speed of 30 knots. However, speed doesn’t distract from other amenities like the Super Nova’s waterfall and glass-bottomed swimming pool on the main deck, which is necessary for the beach club on the deck below to have enough natural light to function.
Other features include a helipad that doubles as an outdoor theater with a pop-up movie screen, a series of tenders, and water toys like a Quadski. The Galactica Super Nova has up to 12 guests across six staterooms with interiors featuring creams, leather, steel, woods, and onyx.
Heesen’s newest ship will be delivered this May and will be on full display at the Monaco Yacht Show this fall.
