Sir Stelios Foundation Annual Event in Monte-Carlo: Benefitting the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Doubling the Tigers!

One of the summer’s most sought-after events is approaching: The 5th annual Stelios Philanthropic Foundation cocktail fundraiser, held on the expansive terrace of Sir Stelios Haji–Ioannou, founder of EasyJet Airlines and the Easy-branded group of companies.
Sir Stelios is well-known to support a variety of causes, from entrepreneurial to environmental, and including “Food from the Heart”. His commitment to the environment was awarded with a seat on the Council of Ambassadors for WWF-UK. The Stelios Philanthropic Foundation fights for the future of our environment by supporting various initiatives and organizations committed to finding solutions for a more sustainable planet.
One of these synergistic cooperations is with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, “dedicated to the protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development on a global scale.” At the 5th annual cocktail fundraiser, on Tuesday, July 11th (SAVE THE DATE!), the Stelios and Albert II foundations, together with the WWF, will strive to attain this year’s special goal doubling the number of wild tigers by 2022 – the next Chinese Year of the Tiger.
Last year, the goal of the event was to help safeguard the Pelagos Sanctuary of the Mediterranean. The evening raised €192,000, matched, as always, by the generosity of the evening’s host. What will be the amount of this year’s matching contribution from Sir Stelios and the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation?
You will have to attend the cocktail and subsequent silent auction to watch Sir Stelios write his anticipated “Big Check” (matching contribution) and contribute yourself to such worthy causes. Keep your FOMO levels low and at the same time, make a difference!
